Why He is Visiting:-

Few months ago president of USA officially declared Jeruslem as the capital of Israel. But after that all the countries opposed trump for this act. he was allegedly accused to break the efforts for peace among the Middle East Countries. Although the efforts were not so successful to satisfy both countries (Israel and Palestine). Including Emmenual Macron, Theresa May, Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel all accused Trump.
After this a resolution against the decision of USA was presented in security council. USA warned the members of United Nation General Assembly not to vote against USA and if they do so they will lose all the financial aids providing by USA. But the warning didn't work and the resolution passed by a huge majority.
Although as per possibilities USA had Vito the resolution in Security Council although other countries were not on favor of USA.
But the interesting thing was that India voted against USA in spite of the excellent ties with USA and Israel.
Voting Results of the Resolution on Jeruslem
This the reason that proves the visit best. He wants to satisfy Indian government on their stand and will try to won the favor of a nation that is very important in this global system.
Although it was also said by some critics that in really India did not support Palestine totally because Bhutan Omitted to vote in General Assembly.
