Triangle in Afghanistan: - The situation
of Afghanistan is so critical in present time. But the triangle that is made in
Afghanistan is originated due superpowers’ egoistic nature. During and
after Cold War USA and USSR (later Russia) were spreading there new Imperialism.
In this sequence they tried their luck in Afghanistan. USSR (later Russia) was developing
Afghanistan’s north part and USA was developing the south. Now any one can
guess that if a country developed by two superpowers then how can become a laboratory
of weapons of the same superpowers. Today Afghanistan is suffering from
Terrorism.
It happened because USA in order to
show the power and in USA’s word to secure democracy has produced a giant. ‘AL-Quyada’
the giant that proved a back fire for USA.
Today in Afghanistan the ‘successors
of Osama Bin Laden’ are destroying USA’s own Army.
Although USA made so many efforts to
uproot the terrorism but, nit getting expected success. In fact USA has been
failed to secure their soldiers’ life. The legacy starts from President Bush
and still going without any major success. USA is just increasing troops but
the graph of success is crawling.
Talking about the reasons of USA’s
failure in this mission we can say that Hears Geographical conditions and some disputes
with Russia are the major reasons.
USA needs Indian support?
This is the question that can arise in everyone’s mind. A country that
proclaims itself Superpower (by others also), the guard of democracy, a country
that has world’s most advanced technology and artillery. That country now needs
support of a developing country (not undermining India’s power); it seems so
strange in first sight.
Authorities of USA are making
statements that India can be a good partner in Afghanistan, to solve the
problem and to help Afghanistan to reestablished its infrastructure.
In fact in the case of Afghanistan
the weakness of USA’s policy and their so called most advanced army has come
out clearly. In this case USA is facing a dilemma. If USA quits this war then
its image as a guard of democracy and superpower will definitely has a spot.
USA will never want that.
This is the main reason behind
USA’s so called cooperative and friendly behavior. In fact USA wants to
transfer the burden of this dilemma equally on India. But it will wrong if I would
say that India should not cooperate or help in this situation. Definitely India
will never do so, because there are some India’s national interests also in Afghanistan.
So of course India should help in this situation but should not become careless
towards USA’s selfish nature (that every country have more or less as the name
of national interest).
Conclusion: - In
case of Afghanistan, weakness of a superpower has proved. In this case India
has a chance to show its zero tolerance policy towards terrorism
and also its image as peace lover and of Vishva Guru (that
teaches the world about non violence, cooperation, etc.).
